Beauty at the Castle That Underscores Personality
Schloss Hauptwil is now home to a place for beauty. Where history, aesthetics and a modern way of life meet, beauty too has found its own special place.
In the distinctive atmosphere of Schloss Hauptwil, Line Permanent Kosmetik has found a setting in which beauty, calm and individuality come together.
For more than 30 years, Simone Kumpf has devoted herself with passion to cosmetics and permanent make-up. As a qualified nurse and experienced beautician, she combines solid professional knowledge with a keen sense of aesthetics, facial proportions and the individual character of each person.
Naturalness is at the heart of her work. The aim is not to change a face, but to gently emphasise its own personality. Finely balanced permanent make-up can harmonise contours and add expression while remaining so unobtrusive that natural radiance is preserved.
A particular focus of her work is Slow Aging - a contemporary approach that is not about stopping the ageing process, but about supporting the skin in its natural functions and keeping its vitality and glow for as long as possible.
The offering is completed by selected cosmetic treatments tailored to each skin type and to personal needs. Thorough consultation, high-quality treatment concepts and, above all, time for the individual person take centre stage.

The first cultivated roses were bred approximately 5,000 years ago, presumably in the gardens of the Chinese emperor. Rose breeding truly took off in the 18th and 19th centuries. David Austin, born in 1926, is one of the most famous rose breeders, having created over 240 new varieties. Austin roses are considered luxurious, with lush petals, exquisite fragrance, and meticulously bred for unparalleled beauty and longevity.
The peony announces Pentecost. Dovetails pay the flame flowers a visit, and we are looking forward to the first strawberries.
Nature invites us to enjoy its optimism.
Despite fog and freezing temperatures the first crocus blossomed on February 1st.

State Visit
Our family home Schloss Hauptwil was blessed with the State visit of His Excellency, President of the Republic South Africa, Mr.Cyril Ramaphosa and his delegation hosted by the President of the Swiss Confederation of Switzerland, Mrs.Karin Keller-Sutter. Both delegations were warmly greeted by the head of the Canton Thurgau, Mr.Urs Martin and the head of the city of Hauptwil, Mr.Thomas Allenspach. Next to the autumn coloured Linden-tree an excellent Alphorn musical performance was presented. The lunch conducted by Chef Bernadette Lisibach supported the heartily atmosphere and delighted the High guests, as expressed in their generous comments written into the Castle´s guestbook.

The gardens of Hauptwil Castle received an Award by the Lake Constance Gardens Association (Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Austria) for the exemplary preservation and maintenance of historically and contemporary valuable gardens and parks in the Lake Constance region. We extend our sincere thanks to landscape architect Katharina Labovitch, who designed the gardens, for her outstanding work.
Autumn arrived. The asters blossom and the wine leafs turn red.
